Dear Mom or Dad, We would be honored to have your child visit our AWANA Club on Sunday nights. If you have other children, they are also invited to one of our seven AWANA Clubs for young people three years old through eighth grade. Our
AWANA Clubs consist of:
The clubs meet on Sunday evenings at 5 pm through 7 pm, typically from early October until the end of April. Our AWANA Clubs are part of more than 40,000 AWANA Clubs which operate around the world. The International AWANA Clubs Headquarters is in Streamwood, Illinois. These community clubs are open to all youth and have children attending from many different faiths and churches. While your child is not required to attend functions of our church, all of our church services and opportunities are available to your family. An AWANA Club meeting consists of three parts: games, achievements, and Bible story time. More than 40 trained adults are involved in our seven clubs. While our facilities and equipment are supplied by the church, each clubber is responsible for purchasing his or her own shirt or vest as well as a handbook. There is also a weekly suggested "dues" of fifty cents per child. It is our desire as caring adults to work with you in helping to provide balanced physical, social, mental, and spiritual activities for your child through the AWANA program.
