Welcome to York Street Baptist Church, a church that cares about you and your family. In the fast-paced and troublesome times in which we live, York Street Baptist wants to be a safe haven and source of strength to every member of your home.

In the Lord we find special strength in two ways. First, the Lord Himself is our strength to meet every need. He feeds and clothes us, heals our wounds, hears our cries for help, and loves us despite the mistakes we make. Our second source of strength is each other. In the Church, we find the hands, feet, ears, and eyes of the Lord. As we give ourselves to Christ, we become His tools in helping each other.

We invite you to become part of this caring church family. The church will nourish and strengthen your home through the principles of God's Word. Encouragement and hope are yours for coming. At the same time, you will bless others through your fellowship and service in God's family.

We assure you that this is not a 'perfect' church. We are all in need of God's grace. Jesus is the only Perfect One. We believe that He died on the cross to save us from our sinful ways. By faith in Him we have eternal life. By obedience we grow to become more like Him.

We extend to you a very cordial invitation to worship and fellowship with us. We believe you will feel very much at home.
