We invite you to get involved and join us in fellowship, community, and service here at York Street! Not only would we love for you and your children to attend one of our ministries, we would also love to see you grow your roots in God’s community, finding where you can best serve with the gifts God has given you.
Welcome to York Street Kids! Our purpose is to provide a safe place for your children to learn about our amazing God and His great love for us. Through Bible lessons, songs, memory verses, and activities we will discover how God’s word applies to our lives. We desire to encourage and support you and your child(ren) to keep growing in the Lord.

Nursery
For children birth - 3 years, nursery staff provide physical care and love for infants and toddlers during our Worship Service. All children are given play time, a Bible story, and a snack (if appropriate). We encourage workers to pray over the children, seeking God’s favor in their lives.
Pre-School and Elementary
For children 4 years - 5th grade, there is a structured service designed just for them. They hear the Word of God, worship through singing and prayer, memorize Scripture, and engage with the Bible through a variety of activities.
Living Rooms
Making Room for Authentic Christian Living
We encourage people to become life-long learners who continually seek a deeper understanding of God and His Word. Our Living Room small group gatherings are designed to engage people in the study and application of the Bible to our lives. It’s a great place to get to know some people and be edified and strengthened in your faith.
Living Room groups meet weekly at various times and locations. Contact the church office for more information.
Prayer Meeting
A mid-week time gathering where we spend time in the Word and in corporate prayer.
Wednesdays at 6:30 pm in Gove Hall. Remote option available.
York Street Women provides a nurturing environment where women can grow in their faith, develop meaningful relationships, and engage in sharing the hope of Jesus with others.
We host regular events where women come together for celebration and encouragement. In addition to our large group events, we have ministries that meet regularly and cater to specific groups of women.
Moms in Truth is for moms looking for support and connection as they seek to go deeper in glorifying God through motherhood.
Moms in Truth meets on alternating Mondays at 10am in Gove Hall. Childcare is provided.
Golden Gals is for ladies ages 70+. They meet in alternating months for tea, singing, getting to know one another, and encouraging one another.
Better Together is our mentoring ministry, designed to connect women in 1:1 relationships for meaningful and intentional conversation, learning from God’s Word, and connecting through encouragement and prayer.
